The Engineering team in WebSummit is small, but growing steadily as we scale our company over the coming years. We have split the engineering function into 4 pillars.

Conference tech team(security, networks, reliability, infrastructure etc)

Internal tools team(administration, scheduling, automation, metabase, onboarding tools)

External tools(ticketing, registration, native mobile apps)

Data team(Projects and products based around our Data science teams analytics)

We have a very flat structure, with daily stand ups, peer reviews and full autonomy on work and projects. There is a high level of trust an ownership of work, utilising best practises and the latest tools.
