About The RoleWe are seeking a strategic and collaborative leader to drive the governance of AI initiatives across the IH organization. This role will oversee the AI Governance Operating Committee, manage intake and progression of AI use cases, lead education and awareness efforts, and ensure effective stakeholder engagement across business and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities Governance & Oversight- Chair and manage the IH AI Governance Operating Committee, ensuring alignment with enterprise AI policies and risk frameworks.
- Develop and maintain governance structures, documentation, and reporting mechanisms for AI initiatives.
- Ensure data lineage and provenance are traceable for all AI inputs.
- Work with the Intake and Finance team to ensure end‑to‑end value governance and Return on Investment delivery.
- Design and manage the AI use case intake process, including evaluation criteria, impact assessment, prioritization, and progression tracking.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely review and advancement of AI projects.
- Enable compliance with regulations (e.g., EU AI Act, GDPR, HIPAA, financial regulations).
- Maintain documentation for auditability and regulatory reporting.
- Lead the development and delivery of AI education programs tailored to various stakeholder groups (business, technical, compliance).
- Promote responsible AI practices and awareness across the organization.
- Ensure models and AI developments are interpretable and decisions can be explained to users and regulators.
- Serve as the primary liaison between IH teams, enterprise AI governance bodies and senior management.
- Facilitate communication and alignment across business units, data science teams, legal, compliance, and risk partners.
- Proven experience in AI governance, data strategy, or enterprise risk management.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, use case lifecycle, and regulatory considerations.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience leading cross‑functional initiatives and governance forums.
- Familiarity with intake workflows, project tracking tools, and educational program design.
- Experience in driving a culture of trust, accountability, and continuous improvement for AI development and use.
- Advanced degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.
- Experience in financial services or highly regulated industries.
- Knowledge of responsible AI frameworks and ethical AI principles.
- Experience working with various countries within a middle‑to‑large enterprise.
