About the role :


As Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Quality Assurance and Quality Control function at the Valia site, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory compliance. In this role, you will also drive digital transformation, system excellence, and continuous improvement across processes and products.


Key responsibilities:


  • Systems and processes
  • Develop and implement QA/QC policies, systems, and procedures to ensure consistent product quality
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives within QA/QC, including automation, data analytics, and system integration
  • Strengthen and standardise customer response systems, ensuring timely, data-driven, and effective communication on quality matters
  • Oversee testing, inspection, and validation of raw materials, in-process, and finished goods
  • Drive implementation of new testing techniques, technologies, and methodologies to enhance accuracy and efficiency
  • Establish and implement robust QA mechanisms and control systems to prevent defects and ensure right-first-time quality
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Manage internal and external audits, certifications, and regulatory inspections
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and enhance process capability
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, R&D, and Supply Chain teams
  • Monitor, analyse, and present quality performance metrics to senior management

Who are we looking for?

Education

  • Bachelor’s or master‘s in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field


Experience

  • 12-15 years of experience in QA/QC, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems, regulatory frameworks (ISO, GMP), and audit management
  • Experience in driving digital initiatives and system improvements in quality functions preferred
