Role Overview We are seeking a
client-focused trademark attorney
who thrives on
relationship building, client development, and clear communication
, while also handling substantive trademark legal work. This is a
hybrid role
: 3 days per week working from the office 2 days per week working remotely You will work with
clients across Latin America and globally
, serving as a trusted advisor and long-term relationship owner, not just a transactional filer.
Key Focus of the Role Client relationship management and development is the primary skill Legal work supports the relationship — not the other way around You will: Advise clients on trademark, copyright, patent, and broader IP strategy Build long-term relationships through video consultations and follow-ups Deliver clear, practical advice using live and recorded video Help migrate and manage work previously handled by outside agents Act as a face of Trademarkia for clients in Mexico, Latin Americaand internationally Responsibilities
Client Relations & Development Conduct personalized

with clients Record
custom Loom videos
explaining legal advice, next steps, and strategy Build trust and long-term relationships with clients across jurisdictions Proactively follow up with clients and identify additional IP needs Maintain excellent responsiveness via video, email, chat, and phone
Legal & Substantive Work Conduct trademark searches and clearance analysis File trademark applications and manage prosecution Handle oppositions, office actions, and portfolio management Advise on copyright, patent, and broader IP issues where relevant Coordinate filings across multiple jurisdictions, especially in Mexico
AI & Modern Practice Use AI tools to: Prepare client summaries and explanations Improve clarity and consistency of advice Draft internal notes, checklists, and client communications AI is a
tool to enhance quality and efficiency
, not replace legal judgment
Working Model & Hours Hybrid work model
: 3 days in office in Mexico city (you will help us set up a co-working space) 2 days remote Flexible working hours, but you must be: Responsive during daytime business hours Available for scheduled video meetings You will provide a
weekly availability schedule

Qualifications Licensed Attorney in Mexico
with Trademark or Patent prosecution experience. Complete fluency in English Trademark qualifications completed
Experience in trademark law, including: Searches Filings Portfolio management Strong understanding of trademark laws and procedures Exceptional client communication and consultation skills Comfortable delivering advice via
video (live and recorded) Strong analytical, research, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple clients and matters independently Experience working with international or remote clients is a strong plus
