This position is a 100% remote U.S. based opportunity. Some travel for team meetings and trainings may be required.

About the Position:

As a Claims Coordinator, you will be instrumental in how we are able to connect with policyholders and agents. This position requires a customer service orientated personality with excellent people skills! If you are tech savvy and possess great communication skills, this position could be a great fit for you!

Key Responsibilities: (What you‘ll be asked to do)

Assist the claims team by fielding questions from agents and policyholders.
Utilize our Zendesk system to examine and troubleshoot claims inquiries from policyholders and agents.
Provide great customer service while supporting a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment.
Responsible for accurately issuing checks or rejecting invoice payments to our service provider‘s according to their fee schedule.
Other miscellaneous projects and administrative duties as needed.

Some Requirements:

1+ years working in the insurance, customer service industry or related field.
Basic math skills are required in order to understand, analyze, and process payments to service providers.

Uncanny ability to pick up on internal systems and programs quickly.

Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Education:

High School Degree Required

Computer Skills:

Must be proficient with MS Office and other internal insurance related programs, systems or applications.
Ability to communicate effectively using programs such as Slack & MS Teams. You are comfortable sharing screens and video chatting.
Previous experience using Zendesk is a plus, but not required.

Other:

Reliable high-speed internet connectivity required.
Designated quiet work from home space.
