Job Summary & Purpose

The Deals Writer is responsible for reporting on deals spanning a number of product beats such as CPUs, laptops, gaming PCs, monitors and peripherals. This position is also responsible for the creation and maintenance of “best deals” pages and the maintenance of product buying guides.

Key role responsibilities

  • Creating deals content for Tom’s Hardware across all relevant product types (laptops, processors, graphics cards, SSDs, peripherals, monitors, etc)
  • Checking and maintaining quality of ecommerce links on evergreen buying guides (ex: best gaming monitors, best laptops)
  • Integration of ecommerce and SEO best practices
  • Understand key performance indicators, and ensure that we are delivering against them
  • Identify opportunities to fill content gaps that enable the brand to serve its audience better
