You will manage the team and be responsible for the provisioning of all data capture related project development services for clinical trials. The Software Development Engineer Team Lead is responsible for developing and maintaining best practices in project development within Application Engineering; scheduling resources for projects, managing all building & deployment of test & production databases and training and developing all Software Development Engineering resources on-site.Clario delivers the leading endpoint technology solutions for clinical trials. Integrates the acquired device data with the backend project specific databasesParticipates in decision making of the development life cycle of clinical trial study data collection applicationsContributes to the development of project specifications, PDS templates & improvements, and to the planning and deployment scheduling processManages development of complex customized implementations for specific clients through collaboration with cross-functional team members or own specialized skill setWorks with Product Development to review the requirements and design specifications of new products or product features.Oversees operational readiness tasks: Pilot projects, internal validation support, experimental development, KaizenMaintains coding guidelines and train the less experienced engineers on study development best practicesProvides peer reviews of low, moderate and high complexity code developed by other engineersActs as a go-to expert in one area of the codebase; understands the broad architecture of the entire system, mentoring other employees as neededWrites correct and clean code with guidance; consistently follows stated best practices Understands and embraces the regulatory requirements of the business. Maintains, develops, reviews, and approves appropriate SWIs for Project development functionsCommunicates timelines, scope and technical concerns to internal partners. May act as project/team lead or technical leadIs focused on and responsible for the team‘s productivity and collective impact.Provides leadership to employees, addressing wide impact technical issues, resource, and personnel issues.What we seek -Bachelor’s in Computer Sciences, or a related degree, or equivalent experienceMinimum of 5-7 years of experience in software developmentExperience developing software in a regulated environment (ISO 9001, FDA 21 CFR Part 11)Able to prioritize multiple projects and work in a fast paced environment with short timelinesDesirable Skills and Experience:Experience managing peopleWorking experience and knowledge in writing SQLExperience developing software for clinical trials or the pharmaceutical industry Net, C#, Java, iOS , Cordova/Xamarin, C, C++, AndroidPreferred experience in JavaScript ES6, asynchronous calls, CSS, XML, JSON Web application development experienceExperience in IDE, Repository, Issue tracking systems (Visual Studio, Eclipse, GitLab, TFS, JIRA.Experience in SW development methodologies; Agile SCRUM, Waterfall, KanbanLocal to HungaryAbility to work from home on a regular basis (this role will be fully remote to start, although we may offer hybrid options at a later date)At Clario, we put people first, always.
