GripAble Ltd is a multi-award-winning technology start-up developing a gamified mobile software platform to provide remote assessment and rehabilitation to people with brain or physical injuries. Rehabilitation programmes are critical for such patients. For example, after a stroke, helping patients regain their quality of life. However, for years therapists have struggled to find accessible tools that can engage patients. Our first product is GripAble™, an innovative digital hand-grip device that connects to our mobile app, allowing patients with hand and arm impairments to play engaging therapy games and interact with a community of others, suffering from similar disabilities, whilst in the comfort of their own homes. We are a spin-out of Imperial College London, who collaborate closely with clinicians, researchers, and patients. We have raised money to scale our product globally.The RoleJoining us as an OT Technician you will be an integral member of the team that directly engages with our customers to deliver expert guidance on all of our products and services, delivering and supporting initiatives aligned to the business objectives.You will play a key role in the nurturing and product training of customers (both clinicians and end-users) to ensure successful adoption of our product/s, being responsive to demand and establishing an ethos of excellent customer service and product delivery. The role requires experience of direct customer engagement within the health arena, as well as a willingness to travel as required for in-person demonstrations.This role requires attendance at the Wimbledon office with some opportunity to work from home where agreed.What You’ll DoBe the first point of contact for our customers after the initial sales process, to support the technical setup of our products and participate in engagement touch-points throughout the trial period, as part of the onboarding process.Complete specialist demonstrations on the full range of our products and services to support adoption by customers, both face to face and via remote platforms.Ensure the delivery of great customer service to build rapport and maintain outstanding customer relationships.Ensure a high level of responsiveness to customer queries and timely escalation of queries outside of scope of role to the appropriate internal team members.Participate in reviews of customer analytics and help to re-engage non-active users in a problem solving and positive manner.Find solutions for customer problems which may arise from reduced understanding of how to apply the product or lack of familiarity with technology (not exhaustive).Complete specialist product training and provide additional guidance/nurturing to larger clinics utilising our products and services on a regular basis.Play role in key distributor training in the areas of product, service and interface usability and expert guidance based on experience within the role.Play a role in engagement & retention programmes where requested to create and drive content via a variety of customer facing and non-customer facing platforms.Utilise experience of working with adults/children with additional health needs to drive and inform direct customer contact.Work in salesforce to keep customer records up to date, supporting a team-based approach to customer relationship development.Play a role in engagement & retention programmes where requested to create and drive content via a variety of customer facing and non-customer facing platforms.Desirable ExperienceExperience of working directly with customers within the health arena (clinicians and end-users with health diagnosis) (2+ years), for example, as a therapy or rehabilitation assistantExperience of training others to adopt technology or alternative approaches to their workA hands-on, practical approachAn empathetic approach to the circumstances and needs of our customersStrong problem-solving skillsSelf-Starter, high energy and positive attitudeExcellent written/verbal communication and presentation skillsA collaborative team player who can balance working independently and with initiative, as part of a team project environmentFamiliarity and fluency with technologyWhat We OfferFull-time role with flexible hoursDaily office-based work located in Wimbledon with a longer term option of working as a Hybrid role split between the office and your home.A passionate and highly skilled team, always ready to help you develop your skillsCollaboration with world leading specialists from Imperial College LondonAn extensive network of mentors providing opportunities to rapidly learn new skills and boost your career developmentA fabulous role, where you can learn and develop a wide range of skills and launch a careerThere could be an opportunity for international travel or secondment opportunitiesSalary: £28, 000 PA + employee benefits package (life, health and critical illness cover)
